LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

Dear Readers, 

Flagship began as Susquehanna University’s “GO Experience” magazine, where students reflected on their experience studying abroad in new cultures and environments. Flagship has now evolved to publish works outside of SU, highlighting the work of passionate undergraduates all over the globe. Our rebrand aims to reshape, refocus, and redefine the influence that travel and place have on our lives, constantly evolving our perception of the world around us. 

In our newest edition, we’re publishing prose, poetry, and photography that transcend national borders, focusing on place and the people of those places and the lasting impact of travel. This year, we are incredibly proud to present works from over fifteen countries and over five universities. Our magazine is truly overjoyed that we’re following in the footsteps of our namesake—a vessel that leads the way for cross-cultural connection and introspection.
